Following the break up of Hammerfall Gaming, I became one of the first members of Edelweiss Gaming and played on their Paratrooper RP Server from its foundation. After the eventual closing of the Paratrooper RP Server, I played on various other Serious WW2 RP servers such as Cyberplex, Heinreich, Auxilium, Valence, DIR and Citadel Gaming. I have now come back to the revived Paratrooper RP. [b]Former Staff Experience: [/b]I was formerly a moderator on Hammerfall Gaming WW2 Serious RP and First Responder RP. After this, I became one of the first Game Masters on Edelweiss Paratrooper RP until its end. Following this I was staff on Auxilium for a short period of time and on Garnet Gaming's military RP server, both serving as junior administrator. My last staff position was on Werewulf Gaming where I was a moderator last winter.   [b]How much playtime do you have on the server?: [/b]I have played a couple of hours so far, I played extensively on the old server. [b]Why would you like to be Admin?: [/b]I want to be an administrator because I was one of the old staff members on the previous server and have a great amount of experience with the types of players that play on our servers. The integrity of a serious rp server is in the roleplay it presents and it is the minges of the internet that make a server turn from great to awful rather quickly. It is the complacency of this behavior in staff that I have seen in my many years of experience that leads to the collapse of various serious rp servers in the past. I have a personal connection with this server as I had with the old server as it was my biggest administrative position and at its height it was the most successful WW2 serious RP server out there. I owe it to this community to server in it as one of the administrators to maintain the integrity of the community I have become forever connected to. [b]How active can you be?:[/b] I can currently be available for the whole week from about 6:00 to 10:30 AM and 3:00 to 10:00 PM. [u]STAFF QUESTIONS[/u] [b]What will you do to help the server?: [/b]I will mainly be aiding in the preservation of the server rules and the rp that the server is based upon. Getting recruits whitelisted, banning minges, reprimanding people for failrp, the typical role an administrator should have on a serious rp server. As a veteran I also have extensive knowledge on Nutscript and ULX commands so if needed I can assist in any matters involving such commands. [b]Why out of the other applicants should you be chosen?: [/b]I have a great amount of experience in staffing, especially on Serious RP nutscript servers. I was a former Game Master on the old server and have a great deal of knowledge on the subject matter along with the rules that the server abides by. With this experience, I have the qualifications many other applicants do not possess and this puts me above the rest. As a veteran of these types of servers I know how to tell the dedicated players from the minges and as many have noted, no one is above the rules in my eyes. [b]If you abuse your administrative privileges, you may be removed from staff or even be banned from the server. Do you understand?: [/b]Yes [b]What is Fail RP?: [/b]Fail RP occurs when a player on the server acts in a way that his character would in a real life scenario. An example of this would be someone blasting music through his microphone or someone trying to do a one man army assault on a heavily fortified stronghold. [b]What time frame does the server take place in?: [/b]The Western Front of WW2, 1939-1945. [b][u]SCENARIO QUESTIONS (Provide how you would handle the situation and how you would go about punishing the individual)[/u][/b] [b]A person is complaining that one of their peers is fail RPing, but has no proof to back it up, what would you do? [/b]I would first take the person complaining to an empty area for a sit. Upon doing so I would question the player if there were any other witnesses that could back his claim up or if he had any tangential evidence, perhaps a recording or a screenshot. If there were no other witnesses or evidence, there is no case and thus this person would be put back. However in the case that there is proof of this failrping occurring, I would bring the other party to a sit and give the person a verbal warning if it was the players first offense, however if such behavior were to continue the corresponding player would be kicked. If there are further occurences of failrp by the same player after this, a ban would be in order. [b]Someone is not cooperating whilst being trained, being an obvious minge. What would you do? [/b]I would take the player away to a sit and explain to said player to RP seriously or their will be no toleration for the activities of this player, which would be a resulting day long ban to rethink his actions. [b]A fellow staff member is abusing his/her administrative powers, what would you do? [/b]I would first teleport to said staff member and attempt to explain to said staff member that his/her actions are considered abusive. If the staff member fails to cease, I would report this occurrence to the upper administration for further investigation, gathering evidence via screenshots and recordings of the abuse being underwent. [b]Two members are arguing in Out of Character chat, you warn the two to stop, yet they continue. What would you do? [/b]I would tp the both of them to a sit far away from any other players. There I would explain to both of them that arguments in OOC chat are strictly forbidden and by verbally warning them there I would hope that such activities would cease. If the argument were to continue I would kick both player with the explanation of "Was warned to stop arguing in OOC chat and continued". If it were to further continue, a day long ban would be issued to both parties. Thank you for reading this application.
